Training cats is not an easy task to overcome; it is harder than training dogs. The difficulty makes people assume that cats cannot be trained like dogs. It is recommended to use nutritious food as reward anytime the cats give appropriate responds to your commands. One good piece of nutritious food should be given at a time. Stop giving food for any already learned trick; pet them and give appreciation instead. You should move on very slowly from one trick to another; giving food as a reward is allowed for the new tricks. Training cats require patients and some knowledge about the pet. Training cats cannot be done by forcing them and give punishments; therefore, you should make them as comfortable as possible in the process.
